technical issues

I'm writing to the community because I am fed up with technical issues with QuickBooks Online.  Once again I'm unable to log in.  This spells trouble not only for year end but for the upcoming tax season.  I don't do taxes - I do perform bookkeeping so that clients can get their reports to their tax advisors. 

 

I do not understand why there are so many technical issues right now and I'm going to be searching for other alternatives to QB if this software performance does not improve.  Especially with the added challenges for price increases and other changes that take away service from pro advisers. QBO is no longer worth the money.

I recognize the need for you to use QBO seamlessly, especially in preparing taxes for your clients.


Since you mentioned you’re unable to log in, may I know the specific error or message received? This is to ensure I can provide a timely solution and check if we have reported issues.  


In QBO, we have solutions to help you logged in to your account. For example, if you forgot the user ID, choose I forgot my user ID or Password to recover the information.


Here’s how:

 

  1. On the Sign in page, scroll down to the bottom of the page.forgot.png
  2. Click the I forgot my user ID or Password link.forgot1.png
  3. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.forgot3.png

technical issues

@CoachEUC   I have had the same problems today.  I was able to log in, first thing, this morning.  Then, QBO got REALLY slow and wouldn't let me click on anything without giving error  502.  That's said to be a cookie error.  I cleared all of that yesterday, before leaving work. Did it again, this morning, and still could log in, but not aloud to navigate or click on anything.  

Just tried logging in again, and seems ok, so far, and QBO is actually running quicker and smoother, now.  But to have the amount of technical issues we have all had, as of late, is beyond ridiculous.  

 

Just wanted you to know that you're not alone in your frustrations with QB.
