@deepti3_1

The service is only for converting data from QB Desktop to QB Online. You need to purchase a third-party service to convert data from Excel.

I appreciate you for clarifying your concern, deepti3_1.

I'll share insights about importing data from the general ledger to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As 4Gal mentioned, the Assisted Data Conversion service is only available if you need to convert data from QuickBooks Desktop to QBO.

Alternatively, you can manually enter the transactions from the general ledger to QBO and ensure they are linked to an appropriate account.

Here's how you can perform the process directly to the bank register:

  1. Go to Transactions, then Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select View Register.
  3. On the upper left corner, choose an account through the drop-down button.
  4. To add a transaction, click the drop-down button below the Date column.
  5. Choose the type of entry you'll want to add.

On the other hand, you can use the + New button to add a new transaction if you're looking for another way to enter your entries.

A third-party application can also help you in converting your data. Please refer to this website to look for one: QuickBooks App Store | Online Tools to Power Your Business.

In the future, you might want to scan these resources to learn more about importing transactions:
