Can anyone help me with the correct answer for the knowledge check question below?  I've just about tried everything and I need to get past this question so I can do the CPE exam for that section of training.  Thank you!!!

Knowledge Check

Dan Cheng is another new client. Dan offers a virtual assistant/professional service, Cheng’s Master VA.

He started his business a year ago and grossed $60,000 in that year. Dan doesn’t yet use an accounting solution and has a shoebox full of handwritten notes and receipts. However, he's excited to set up a solution that will provide detailed customer breakdown of his sales and customer history.

Based on what you already know of Dan, which of the following Sales and Accounts Receivable items would you mark with Yes in the Needs Assessment tab of the checklist?
  • Estimates
  • Custom invoices (accounts receivable tracking)
  • Sales receipts
  • Multicurrency
  • Sales tax
  • Price levels
  • Progress Invoicing
  • Statements

We do not do homework or give out answers, but start by considering only what you know about Dan and do not cinsider any unknowns. From the above list, myself, i woukd rule out multi-currency and sales tax to start. Nothing in the scenario woukd3 immediately say he has foreign or taxable sales. His professional fees might be taxable or mihht not but that remains unknown. And can conclude nothing about any ned for multi-currency until he produces one foreign sale.

Everything else sems important to me. No indication that he is cash sales only estimates and invoicing go hand in hand with statements. You might get by without price levels, depending on what that means.  Does it mean different pricing of same service for different customers that cannot be handled by entering a price in the estimate or does it simply mean the use of products/services which can always be zero default value

Dan would benefit from custom invoices, sales receipts, and statements.

Custom invoices might help when he needs to track customers and run more detailed reports to make sure he’s working in the most efficient way with the customers who generate the most income.

Statements are a great tool for service-based businesses that can generate information on what services they’re providing to customers. Clients can even use them to tailor their offering so the client gets great value based on what they can afford.

Dan doesn’t need Multicurrency, nor sales tax, which would be an essential requirement for a retailer selling physical products.

I've tried all these combos without luck.  It will not let me skip this question.  I've been holding for my chat assistant for over 30 mins and apparently she can't do it either.  I tried using the links the New Client Checklist 2021 but they do not work.  I'm VERY frustrated!!!

This is the screen I'm stuck on.  The question about "Dan" at the bottom.  https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/accountant/training

One would think that.... but the answer comes back incorrect.

I believe there is a bug in the entire training module.  I've tried to answer a couple questions (in two different sections) that only have one answer and the system is saying that every single option is incorrect.  I can move on to the next section, but can't finish any of them.  I'm currently working in the "Supporting your small business clients" in the QuickBooks online Certificate course, but I'm stuck in both Sections 6. Vendor Credits and &. Deposit Transactions.  All answers I give are incorrect (which is incorrect).  I sat in a chat yesterday for almost an hour and they could not help me.  Somebody needs to get this training fixed.  I  see that I'm not the only one that is having this issue.  This is very frustrating and makes me concerned about the the Quickbooks Online platform that I'm trying to learn and promote.

Who would ask a question without indicating how many choices to pick? I don't know who writes those questions but most of them need a team of experts to decode.

Those answers did work, but using the given  information the answers did not make sense.

Dan would benefit from custom invoices, sales receipts, and statements.

This is the correct answer, though progress invoicing seemed more essential
