I am getting really frustrated trying to register my Quickbooks program after installing on my new laptop. It has been 30 days and now I can't use my program because I am unable to register online. I keep getting a message telling me that I have to call in to do it and three times now I have been left on hold for close to 15 minutes trying to get a human on the line. Still no access. Not only have I been told to call in but the message is shaming me saying "what is this, the 80s?" Really sick of this runaround. I used their "help line" by messaging and evidently I received a response but can't see the response because the link is a blank page. GRRRRR

I did eventually find the chat box again and had great help in getting this resolved. It took a minute to get the information in place but I'm back in business again! Thanks!
Well that never happened but the assistance I received from the chat option worked. It's all good!

can't get through to anyone with my registration codes to register my product. The auto attendant can't find my account by phone number. my email address was found and a new password was successfully created.

I realize the product is no longer supported, but I need to get the software registered so I can open/load a backup copy and get old information.

To get started, make sure that the product code and the QuickBooks Desktop version should match. This way, you can activate the product code and download the correct version of QuickBooks since we're unable to do it if you have an incorrect one.
For further verification, if the product version your using is still supported, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. They can check your account securely and can help you register the software to get your old information.

Which QB Desktop year version do you have? If Support declined to generate the activation code, you may utilize the trial license.
I am having same issue as Amy after and hour on the phone I was told they would email me from the activation team whatever the heck that is all I did was replace a hard drive

I am not sure they will generate the activation code for your version. Consider upgrading to the recent version (e.g 2021) with the one time license to lower your cost.

Generating a validation code for QuickBooks Desktop 2007 is unavailable. You'll want to upgrade your program to the latest version.

If you were using QBD 2007, time to upgrade your version as I mentioned earlier.
