I have used Turbo Tax for 8 years now. Happy with it. A couple years ago, I got hooked up with the Quickbooks and Turbo tax bundle due to all the "freebies" after I used turbo tax. I never used the quickbooks, so when it came time to do taxes each year, I still enter all my info manually. call me old fashioned... The problem with this is when I go to e-file, I have to pay again for turbo tax. I did this last year and on Sept.28, 2023, I get a letter from Turbo Tax stating: "We owe you a refund! The cost of Turbo Tax should have been included when you purchased QuickBooks and Turbo Tax Self-Employed tax bundle. And due to an issue on our end it looks like you ended up paying out-of-pocket for Turbo Tax."
Well, that is exactly what happened again this year. This time I had to pay $219.00 and I would like to have my refund long before Sept 28. I have called 3 different times on this and have yet to find an employee that has the slightest clue what I am talking about or any concern about helping me with this problem. I have decided to CANCEL my quickbooks tax bundle after I had to pay again. I am owed the refund and want to know WHERE I can find someone that really cares about getting my refund processed in a timely manner. If indeed no one cares, I will proceed to find ANOTHER tax preparation software for next year and the followiing years' taxes as this is not how business should be done and the lack of quality service is unbelievable!
Good afternoon, @EXtaxbundleguy.
I hate to hear that you've had this experience with your account.
The best route would be to contact our Customer Support Team for further assistance. Since our QuickBooks Community is a public platform, I'm unable to bring up anything from your account for billing/taxation to try to resolve the situation.
With that being said, here's how to contact TurboTax Support:
Please keep me updated on how the call goes. I'm only a post away if you need me again. Have wonderful day!
