Updating and Condense Data

Hello,

I am currently running QB Desktop 2019 version, but we have a lot of old data that needs to be condensed. But before I shrink this data, I wanted to know if I updated my version of QB to 2022, will I still need to reduce my company file before or after the new update?

Updating and Condense Data

I'd recommend upgrading to 2022 first and then Condensing the data, after creating a copy for reference.

Two reasons:

- You'll then have two company files in QB 2022 format that you can switch between.

- The Condense feature seems more effective in the newer QB versions.
