I want to upgrade my QuickBooks Pro 2016 version as I have now switched computers, and the print function no longer works despite trying all sorts of workarounds. Does anyone have any advice on an affordable way to do this?
Thanks so much
Jay
I want to express my gratitude for your dedication to addressing the printing issue, Jay. I have an alternative solution that will enable you to use QuickBooks Desktop without any interruptions.
Please be aware that QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2016 is no longer supported. Consequently, any troubleshooting steps you take will not guarantee that it will function properly.
The available options we can provide are QuickBooks Enterprise and Accountant versions, as we stop offering the Pro and Premier versions after September 30.
I'm sharing this article that explains what features QuickBooks Desktop doesn't offer to new subscribers in the United States: Can't buy QuickBooks Desktop as a new US subscriber.

RE: You'll want to consider upgrading to a higher version of QuickBooks Desktop Plus
OK, where do I buy QuickBooks Desktop Plus?
Last month, this page existed, and it listed Pro Plus and Premier Plus: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/email/final-desktop-plus-sale/?cid=ipd_stopsell
It seems to be gone.
@BigRedConsulting "QuickBooks Online offers unparalleled flexibility for your accounting."
Found this little gem on that page.
I suppose that, in the most literal sense of the term, they are being perfectly truthful.
I do but that option seems to not exist for me. I wish it worked but it says I am missing a component and when I try to fix it I end up in a circle that goes nowhere.
Press the windows button and R. Type in Control Panel. Then select programs, then select programs and features. On the left side of the page select Turn windows features on or off then click on OK. Then turn on Legacy components and and Microsoft XPS Document Writer which are off by default. Then shut down your QuickBooks Program then restart your computer. When your computer restarts, reopen QuickBooks and everything should work perfectly.
