vendor reports

I use QB Enterprise 2018.    I am hoping that it is possible to run vendor reports in there as of a certain date.   I could not find it, however.

Basically, we need to know about new vendors that have been added, or old ones that have potentially been adjusted in the last few months.

   Does anyone know?

Hello there, @LBear.

Allow me to share some information about your desired feature in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). You can only generate a report for your vendors and their transactions. The report that will show when the vendor is added in QBDT is currently unavailable. As a workaround, you can base on the transactions created for the vendors to see if this is a newly added or an old ones. To do so, run the Custom Transaction Detail Report.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. Highlight Custom Report and select Transaction Detail.
  3. From the Modify Field, choose the Filters tab.
  4. In the Search Filters box type the word Name.
  5. Under the Name section, click the drop-down arrow and hit All vendors.
  6. Tap OK once done.

Also, in QuickBooks Desktop you have the option to modify or change the vendor reports based on your business needs. To know more, please refer to this article link: Customize vendor reports

If there's anything that you want us to help, reply on this thread. I'll be around if you need further assistance. Take care always.

THanks much - sorry I sent the inquiry twice - I didn't think it went thru the first time!     I haven't used this service before, but it is nice and I definitely will again.

Thanks

Liz
