Where are my links to the workflow for customers?

Hi there, Deb.

I appreciate you for doing the troubleshooting steps my colleague provided. You'll need to ensure you're logged in to the correct QBSE login page, and I'm here to guide you through this alternative way to ensure this navigation menu is displayed on the webpage.

There are cases when you're logged in to QBO page instead of QBSE page and you'll see a different interface without the correct navigation menu. To proceed, you'll need to login to your QBSE account using the correct login page: Let's get you in to QuickBooks Self-Employed (United States).

If your font size is set to large or the page zoomed in, this can cause overlapping of display interface in your QBSE webpage. To handle this you'll need to click the button on the top-left part of the screen to display the navigation menu.

Furthermore, you can also consider checking out this article. You'll see bunch of helpful articles as you process your business with QBSE: Overview of QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Please don't hesitate to leave a reply if you have additional concerns besides the navigation menu concern in QBSE. I'm always here to assist you.

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to help isolate the issue with the missing navigation tabs in your QuickBooks, dk. I'll guide you through the process below.

Occasionally, your browser stores frequently accessed data, which can lead to unusual behavior on online platforms due to data issues. To resolve this, let's access your account in private browsing mode by using the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If it works, return to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the website's preferences. Alternatively, you can use a supported browser to optimize your QuickBooks experience.

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, you can reach out to our Live Support Team. They have the necessary tools to investigate the underlying cause of the problem and perform a screen-sharing session for efficient QuickBooks navigation. Please refer to our support hours to ensure that we can assist you promptly.

Here's how to contact them:

  1. Click the Help button at the top right corner.
  2. Go to the Search tab and enter your concern in the search field.
  3. Select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us.

Additionally, you can enhance your knowledge of Schedule C categories and transaction categorization by exploring this material.

I'll leave the thread open for follow-up questions or further clarification on navigation tabs or any other concerns you may have. I'm committed to making your QuickBooks experience as smooth and efficient as possible.

Thanks for the help, but I have cleared the cache on both Chrome and Edge as well as attempting the private pages and VPN. I still have no navigation links to get to my customer base, vendors, and such. I am currently using the widgets, they are not ideal for my processes. I prefer the links in the menu.

Thank you,

Deb
