Why is Quickbooks not finding my printer? Other programs print, but it won't print invoices when prompted.

I can help you figure this out, uservillagevoices.

Let's check the default printer as well as the printer settings on your browser. It's because whichever printer that set as default, this is also your default from QuickBooks Online (QBO).

  1. Navigate to the page or information within QuickBooks you wish to print, and click on the Print button.
  2. From the Print Preview that appears, select Print. In the field next to Destination, click Change.
  3. Under the Print Destinations section, you'll see all available printing device on your PC/network. Select Manage at the top of the list.
  4. A Google Chrome settings page will open directly to the Printing section. Click Printers ➤.
  5. Windows Explorer window will appear displaying all printing devices on your PC/network. Right-click any of these devices and select Set as Default Printer.

Also, check out our detailed guides on troubleshooting printing issues on browsers for Windows for additional reference.

Joining in on this thread to help you find your local printer in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

LogMeIn is a remote access software that enables you to control a computer from a different location via an internet connection. To locate your local printer, let's isolate the issue by disabling the LogMeIn software upon signing in to your QBO account.

If you're able to access your local printer, it's best to reach out to their customer support for further assistance in setting up your printer for remote printing.

Otherwise, let's check your browser's default printer setup. QBO utilizes the default one set in your PC/network. Here's how:

  1. Go to the print page within QBO where you wish to print and click the printer icon.
  2. From the Print Preview, select Print. Click Change in the field next to Destination.
  3. Under Print Destinations, you'll see all available printing devices on your network. Click Manage at the top of the list.
  4. Click Printers.
  5. A Windows Explorer window will display all printing devices. Right-click on your preferred printer and select Set as Default Printer.
