Why isn't the cursor automatically coming up in the vendors identification window when entering a bill anymore?

Same with creating an invoice I have to clink in the client identification window because the cursor doesn't appear on it's own.
This is really frustrating and time consuming. I used to be able to just start typing and not have to click on the space every single time!!!

Hi there, @mafortier.

We've currently made some enhancements or updates with the new invoice and bill experience. I see it's time-saving to have the cursor automatically highlight the vendor or customer drop-down list window when creating a bill and invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I recognize the need for this feature, I recommend sending feedback to notify our software engineers.

To send your input, here's how:

  1. On your QBO account, go to the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your suggestion.
  3. Once done, click on Next.

Moreover, you may want to check out our QuickBooks Blog to learn what are the new updates being rolled out by Intuit.

Additionally, I'll also share this link where you can search for articles that can serve as your reference in managing your QBO account: QuickBooks Online Help Articles.

Feel free to leave a reply if you have additional QuickBooks-related queries. The Community team always has your back. Keep safe.

I totally agree - this is very frustrating, especially when you have a load of supplier invoices to input. Please bring this invaluable feature back!
