Join nowHello there, @userdavid-lentsch.
Let me route you to the best available support so we can further check on the root cause of the error you've received.
When calculating your income tax, QuickBooks takes into consideration the amount reflected in your employees' YTD through the most recent closed quarter. Since you're being prompted with an error stating the amounts do not match calculated taxable wages, this means the YTD through closed quarter payroll is out of balance and needs to be reviewed.
That being said, I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Support team. This way, a specialist can securely look up your account and assist you in reviewing your tax filings or taxable wage reports. Also, they can guide you in entering the correct YTD through closed quarter payroll amounts. Here's how to contact us:
Just a heads-up, we have limited staffing and have reduced our support hours to 6 AM - 6 PM PST, Monday - Friday due to COVID-19.
Feel free to leave a post below to let us know how your call goes. I’ll be around to answer if you have other questions and concerns about managing your payroll in QuickBooks. Have a good one.
I'm here to ensure everything is taken care of,@userdavid-lentsch.
