Receipt forwarding getting returned because the file is too small.

All of a sudden I'm getting the following response for literally every single e-mail I try to forward.

This began happening a little while after I updated my MacBook to the latest OS.

I cannot find anything online about this. Anyone else have this problem or suggestions on how to fix it??

"Your expense receipt was included in the email body or your attached receipt was too small. Kindly note that the size of the attached image should be at least 45 KB."

Every day, Intuit drifts further from quality.

What are they afraid that you'll do, send the world's smallest virus?

I'm here to share more information about sending your email receipts, @Vaucoin.

You can attach multiple receipt images in one email if the file size is between 46KB and 20 MB. We must ensure that the image file size is within the specified range when sending the receipt.

Once done, if the issue persists. I recommend using a private browsing window that doesn't store files. Browsers use cache and cookies to load web pages faster.

To open an incognito window, you can refer to these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Press Crtl+Shift+P
  • Microsoft Edge & Mozilla Firefox: Crtl+Shift+N
  • Safari: Press Command+Shift+N

If you can now send your receipt, consider returning to your regular browser and clearing its cache and cookies.

If you still have the same result, I suggest utilizing another supported browser. It can help us identify if the issue is specific to your current browser. You can also use an alternative such as snap receipt and manual upload of pictures.

Moreover, let me share this article to help you with your bills: Enter and manage bills and bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you still have questions about your receipts. Have a great day, and take care.
