Regarding OpenID and Oauth2.0

We have implemented OAuth2.0 authentication using REST API to connect Intuit and Quick Books.

Is it necessary to implement OpenID for using the REST API services?

Regarding OpenID and Oauth2.0

Thank you for visiting the Community today, ramakoti_buzzboard.

I acknowledge your concern about the need to implement OpenID to utilize REST API services. Allow me to guide you to the appropriate channel to effectively address and resolve your concern.

We have a separate forum where you can connect with other developers, product experts, and users to discuss any software or API-related queries or issues. I recommend posting your question on our Intuit Developer Community. They'll be able to provide you with detailed insights on whether you need to implement OpenID to use the REST API services.

Here's how to get to their site:

  1. Go to this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online under What do you need help with? and choose Ask a Question.
  3. Log into your existing Intuit Developer Account or create a new one and enter a description of your concern.
  4. Click Ask.

Also, there are helpful articles available that can assist you in connecting software with QuickBooks products. To access them, go to the API Docs & Tools menu and select QuickBooks Online. You will discover various topics such as API Reference, Docs, and SDKs, to mention a few.

Furthermore, I have included a valuable resource for you to explore: QuickBooks Online guide. This comprehensive collection of self-help can help enhance your efficiency in managing various aspects of your business.

Reach out to me again if you have any app-related concerns or need further assistance completing a specific QuickBooks task. I'm always here to ensure you're taken care of, @ramakoti_buzzboard. Have a great day ahead!
