Buy nowWork station hard drive crashed with QBPro 2009 data on it. Backup also corrupted. Data retrieval company says I need a 2009 copy of my QBPro2009 software to get data back. I can't locate my 2009 QBPro disk. Any suggestions? Thx
Let me route you to the right support to help you retrieve your QuickBooks 2009 data from a crashed hard drive, musicmark7127.
QuickBooks Desktop has a feature called QuickBooks Auto Data Recovery (ADR) that can recover all or most of your data. It restores lost transactions using your current Transaction Log file and a copy of your Company file or by restoring all but the last few hours of transactions with a copy of both your Company file and your Transaction Log file. To help you with this one, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Data Services Team. They are available M-F 6 AM - 6 PM PT. In your Welcome Email, they'll send you instructions and a link to upload your company file.
Another way to recover the working copy of your company file is to ask your IT professional. They'll help you extract the data from your old hard drive.
Since QuickBooks 2009 is an outdated version, we can gradually upgrade your company file from 2009 to 2012 and then to 2019 (once it is already installed o your computer). The trial links for unsupported versions of QuickBooks are no longer available. To help you get those links and will walk you through the bridging process, I'd suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and help you with this one. You may send a message via chat, call us at a time convenient to you, or we’ll get in touch with you instead. To ensure we address your concern, our representatives are available from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturdays, PST. See our support hours and types for more details about this one. Here's how:

You need to install the trial license of QBD 2011 to restore your file as the first step. If you are able to do that, you may consider your options later. Find any *.QBW, *.QBB, and *.QBM files to restore on QBD 2011.
