Risk Management

We are new to QB, but not a new company.  I tried to process a return on a credit card but got an error that says: 'Requested refund amount exceeds value allowed by risk'. This is return for items from our old POS and credit card processing company so I can see why it might cause a red flag.  However, I have talked to support with Merchant Services and they told me it was a POS problem and then sent me to POS support.  POS support says it is a Risk Management problem and sent me a link to chat.  The chat support person that connected asked if I needed help to view a payroll stub online and had no idea how to help me.  She did give a link to chat with Merchant Services which is not working.  Anyone know how to get in contact with this Risk Management company.  I do not see very many positive things in the Community about dealing with them.

Thanks,

Risk Management

This isn't the kind of impression we want you to have, @tfriye.

I want to make sure you can process a return on a credit card so you can get back to working order. I'd like to redirect you to the best support group available to get this addressed right away.

You'll need to reach out to our QuickBooks Payments Team to get in touch with the Risk Management department. I understand that you've contacted them before but they're the best support group that can help increase the limit.

You can also check out this article for another way of reaching out to our support team and its support hours: QuickBooks Desktop Support.

You might want to check out this: Void or refund transactions in QuickBooks Payments. This will guide you through the steps on how to void or refund transactions.

Our doors are always open to help you again if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions. Wishing you all the best, @tfriye.
