Sales tax function failing - QBD 24 Enterprise

I have been trying to pay sales tax..yippee...but this month, when I go to Vendors>pay sales tax> it shuts down the program. Every time. I have spent hours on the phone with support only to have them tell me its a different problem issue...call your IT guy. ???? Seriously?

I cannot get it escalated to have the programmers look into it and fix it. I have another company file that it works fine on. I have previously used this function on this company file with no issues. I have done all the recommended 'fixes'..to no avail.

Is anyone else having this issue? Please report it so they will look into it. I was told today that more than one person has to report the issue..I would think anyone trying to pay their sales tax with this function is having it in QBD 24 Enterprise.

Sales tax function failing - QBD 24 Enterprise

Thank you Cody. I did hear from Ronald, who while trying to be helpful, had me select a function that 'cleared' my authorization as primary in the Intuit account which then in turn will not allow me to enter a 16 digit number as our QB ID, which should have been assigned and created when I first set up the company file, but somehow was not, and they have decided that this has created the problem that prevents the pay sales tax function not to work anymore. It worked last month, so how this number that I did not have access to and was not created when setting up the company file or the Intuit account I previously had access to makes a difference I cannot understand. Now they want me to supply corporate company documents and company owner identification to prove who I am. I am not the owner of the company, I am the bookkeeper and primary user of the company file, so how that information makes a difference and why they can't get me authorized again, is a mystery to me. We are now in a stalemate with information and lack of need for said information. I hope someone out there has a work around for this as I don't think I'm getting any further help from support and they won't look for the actual problem, the bug in the program that makes it shut down every time I try to use the pay sales tax function.

Any help out there fellow QBD Enterprise 24 users?

Sales tax function failing - QBD 24 Enterprise

To bring it up to date.

Support maintains this issue is with permissions. they will not even look at the bug until I submit documents about the company, the owner etc. During a support session they had me 'clear' my permissions so I could enter a 16 digit number that should have been entered in the background when I set up the company file in the first place but was not. No explanation of why that did not happen at the time as it should have.

I have received multiple emails to "confirm" underdstanding of screen shots sent after doing as  instructed but  no further assistance in actually getting to the bottom of the issue, which is the bug in the program.

I am looking for support and anyone else who is trying to pay sales tax on QBD 24 Enterprise and having this issue to submit a bug report, call in and tell them it is an issue for you as well. If yours works, and you are not having this issue, please also reply so I know it's specifically our program and can work towards resolution in that direction.

Thank you,

A Frustrated 30+ year bookkeeper using the program.
