Has there been a very recent change in QB Desktop 2019 that is causing this random annoyance?
From a quote/estimate (or invoice, or other), I select Print - Save as .pdf. It opens the window asking what to name the file and where to save. This window has changed. It covers the entire screen, doesn't have a minimize option, and has no option to resize the window. Also, the menu across the top is gone. In the scheme of things there are small issues but they are annoyances and I'd like to make them go away.
Any ideas?
Thanks -

I'm having the same problem. I tried the Quickbooks Tool Hub and it hasn't fixed the issue.
I'll make sure this gets sorted out, @DSparer.
When software is outdated, you encounter issues when doing tasks in QuickBooks Desktop.
You'll want to ensure your Adobe Acrobat Reader is updated to prevent the issues you're having. For comprehensive instructions on how to update Adobe Reader/Acrobat, visit the Adobe website.
If the problem still exists after updating to the most recent version of Adobe Reader, let's adjust the alignment. Let's say for example you're trying to save a check:
If everything falls into place, you're good to go. You may now try to save your transactions as a pdf.
Lastly, as you continue working with your customer transactions such as invoices, you can as well read the information in this article on how you can create more than one invoice from a single estimate: Set up and send progress invoices in QuickBooks Desktop.
If you have any other saving transaction-related concerns or follow-up questions, I'll be around to help you. Take care.
I updated Adobe Acrobat DC and nothing changed. This ONLY happens in Quickbooks. When I save a pdf from anywhere else, it's the 4" X 6" window like Quckbooks used to be.
I don't have a new+ tab - I'm on Quickbooks Accountant 2015. I did open the printer setup in the File tab but it doesn't see the PDF printer to try to do the adjustment.
That worked for me! I tested and then closed QB and reopened it and now I can resize the PDF window again.
Perfect!!
I finally figured this out! Hold down the windows key + right arrow, then the windows key + down arrow. I was having the same problem for months!
This worked for me even after I closed QB and reopened!!
