SCAM CALL

Received a call today stating my priority subscription payment was declined.  Phone number was [removed].  Introduced himself like a professional, Intuit employee.  Ironically, I always check my account ever so often and recently did, noting that I do not belong to "priority subsciption" and I informed the kind person, I was no enrolled in such program.  He immediately hung up.

Intuit won't bother calling you to offer or remind you anything. You may consider changing your phone number in CAMPS to avoid these types of scam calls.

SCAM CALL

Can you please confirm that (858)294-1286 is NOT a legitimate Quickbooks/Intuit phone number?  I received an email from [email address removed] advising me to call that number to continue my service.  I believe the email is a scam but would like to verify.

Thank you.

@CSF1958   It is a scam. QB will never contact you, especially with an email, unless you request a callback for tech support.

SCAM CALL

I just hung with phone number 442-275-1236 which identified themselves as QB Support and the caller ID said it as well.  He had some of my account information and seemed professional and legitimate but something just felt off.  I verified some information that wasn't sensitive like my name and email address.  But when he was pressing me to update the payment information I trusted my gut and just told him to email me.  He told me they had and my payment was past due and then he got aggressive.  I just told him to send me an email and hung up.  Beware.  I like to think myself as savvy but I almost fell for it.
