In our continuous effort to improve user experience and functionality, QuickBooks Online had several enhancements to the Search feature. These updates are designed to make the search process more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly to help our customers find the information they need faster and easier.
However, if you'd like the search bar back on the side so it only shows the magnified glass, I'd recommend sending feedback to our Product Development Team. They will take note of your experience with the update and consider your suggestions for future product enhancements.
Here's how to send feedback:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
- Enter your product suggestions or feedback.
- Then, click Next to submit.
You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
