Selling inventory internally

In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac, the ability to sell an inventory item as part of another inventory item isn't available.

You'll want to sell the inventory part as per line item in your sales form. I can see how beneficial it is to have the ability to combine your items and sell them as one inventory item. 

I suggest sending your feedback to your development team. This way, they can review your suggestion and might consider adding it in the future updates. I'll show you how.

1. Go to the QuickBooks menu.
2. Select Preferences.
3. On the Preferences pane, select Feedback. 
4. Follow a link to the QuickBooks Desktop Mac online forum and/or to an online form for submitting feedback.

We appreciate your interest in finding other ways to sell an inventory item as part of another inventory item in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. We recognize how beneficial it is for you and your business. However, as provided by my colleague above, this feature is currently unavailable.

It would be great to send this feedback to our Product Development Team. We constantly take your suggestions into account while making product updates. The more requests this gets, the more likely it'll be part of future enhancements. To do so, please follow the steps given by my peer above.
