In case anyone is having issues sending invoices from quickbooks using your Yahoo email - I'll save you some time. The App Generator in Yahoo is down for maintnennce and there is no timeframe for when it will be up. This means you cannot get an App Password for Quickbooks to send invoices, etc., to your customers. Forget calling QB support for alternatives. They have no idea what other options exist in quickbooks and could not tell me what the other two options, Outlook and QuickBooks Email meant. I went in circles for over an hour with someone completely incompetent. She was not even familiar with the App Password requirement between Yahoo and QB. It was a complete waste of time. I resorted to creating a gmail account for our business to utilize for QB and ditched the yahoo email (which is garabage anyhow). What's ridiculous is that QB required an app password every time I went in to email invoices to customers. I'd try and stay logged in to avoid this, but internet connections, etc., would cause issues. My Yahoo Security did not include the option to remember passwords or allow access to 3rd party apps that were designated. And, as far as I can see, there's no where in QB to store a one-time App generated password for Yahoo.
