I am the Treasurer of a Homeowners Association. I use a Mac and I bought a desk top version of QB for Mac 3 years ago to keep the Association books. Cash basis, no payroll, pretty straightforward. My term is ending and my successor uses a PC. She's looking at QB Online to keep the books during her tenure. Can I give her the records for the past 3 years on a little thumb drive? Thank you.
You would have to export to QB online from within your working file. Be advised once going from QB Mac to QB Online not all things transfer well and it is extremely difficult to get back to any desktop versions.
