Signature on Invoice

I need to add signatures to invoices. I have seen the steps to do it, but I do not have the signature option on my app. I am using simple start do I need to upgrade my plan?

I'll walk you through how to refresh data in the QuickBooks Mobile app.

 

When you refresh your data, QuickBooks Online App will update it with the most recent data that is currently available. Please also ensure we have a stable internet connection while doing the process.

 

Here's how to refresh data:

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰, and tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

 

iOS

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Note: A message appears if there's a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data; refresh it now. It may take a few minutes.
  4. Tap Refresh to confirm.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app. It allows you to start over with the app.

 

Please follow the steps below to proceed:

 

  1. Tap and hold the app on your phone.
  2. Drag the app to the Uninstall section.
  3. Select Yes to confirm.

 

Once done, visit these links to reinstall the QBO mobile app:

Signature on Invoice

I followed all the steps with no success. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app without getting a signature option. I am on an android device, and it says save, not done. When I open the invoice, I have more options but adding a signature is not there. 

I also have an Ipad that has the same issue. I cannot get a signature option.

I appreciate you coming back and trying the steps my colleague provided. Since the instructions didn't work to resolve the problem, let me give you more insight on capturing signatures in QuickBooks Online.

 

To clarify, the Get signature option will only appear after enter all required details and then saving the sales form. Here's a guide that instructs you on how to capture signatures on an invoice or estimate

Unfortunately, I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I fill out an invoice completely then hit save, I open it up again and hit more and there is no option for signature. I am using an android phone and I also tried it on my IPad.

I hear you and I'm here to help share insights about getting a signature from customers for invoices in QuickBooks Online using the mobile app.

 

I wanted to make sure I've got you on the same page and I found out that the feature to get signatures for invoices is not available for the Simple Start plan. For now, we may need to upgrade your plan to use the such feature: Upgrade your QuickBooks Online Subscription.

 

While the option is only available for customers with a plan in Plus and Advance subscription, I recommend getting in touch and letting our product developers know about this request by sending feedback. I'll show you how.

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Feedback.
  3. Describe how getting the signature for invoices is helping your business grow while using QuickBooks.
  4. Select Next.
  5. Click Skip and send message.
