Since your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) version is old, you'll have to gradually upgrade your company file following the 3-year life cycle until you reach the latest version, Nicolas ROBL.
This means you would first upgrade your company file to a slightly newer version (such as 2013, 2014, or 2015) and continue this process until your company file is compatible with the newest version of QuickBooks Desktop. You can use the trial version of QBDT to perform the process.
Before doing that, make sure to secure a backup copy of your company file so you can restore it anytime in the future.
Another option is to directly update the company file to the newer version of QuickBooks Desktop. However, there may be a higher risk of encountering compatibility or data integrity issues since we're upgrading from a much older version.
Please utilize the instructions provided in this link: Upgrade Company Files When Switching to a New Version of Desktop.
