Join nowDo square fees automatically show up in QB?
I've had a lot of confusion importing my transactions to QB from Square Connect. On the initial pass, it missed several deposits/transactions.... my books were about 13k short of where they should be. When I believed I finally got all the transactions in there.... my books were off by about 4k too much... about what my square fees were for the year according to Square.
I do not see a line item for Square Fees in my P/L.
Any help with this is appreciated. Cheers!
Good morning, The Jake.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out for support here in the Community. I want to make sure you're able to get the Square fees entered into your QuickBooks Online account.
Many QuickBooks users will actually enter a negative amount for the fee as a line item. This can be done by:
1. Clicking the (+) New icon.
2. Choose Bank Deposit.
3. Add the square fee (negative amount) to the line item.
4. Click Save and close.

It's always a good idea to discuss these types of actions with your accountant as well. If you need any additional assistance please don't hesitate to reach back out.
I appreciate the information and advice you have shared.
