Square not downloading into QB online

Thanks for visiting the Community today. I'm here to help ensure your square transactions are downloading in QuickBooks. 

Once a Square merchant account is connected to QuickBooks Online, the transaction will be available for download into your company file. It will give you a day’s worth of transactions so you can test drive the import.

However, if you haven't processed any transactions for more than15 days, you will not see transactions until the day after you process a transaction using your Square account 

Here are the steps to download your Square merchant account transactions into your QuickBooks Online company file:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company file
2. Go to the Transactions section, then select Sales. 
3. Click the Import Transactions option, then select Square in the upper right corner.

When I click on transactions all I see BANKING, RULES, RECEIPTS AND TAGS!  I don't see an option for sales.

Having your Square transactions to be downloaded into the system is my priority.

The system relies on the transactions that are shared from third-party applications like Square. The entries that are transmitted in QuickBooks Online are based on what they allow.

To make sure you'll be guided to the right support. It'd be best to contact their customer support directly. They have the necessary tools to investigate why your Square transactions are not downloading in QBO.

Moreover, the Transactions tab in QBO doesn't contain the Sales option. The steps that were shared by my peer above can be done when downloading your transactions from the Square merchant account into the QuickBooks Online company file.
