Submitting Time for the Week

An employee has entered time for the week of 10/17.  When he tries to submit his time the system shows he has zero hours for the week even though he entered 8 hours for each work days.

Has anyone ever seen this happen?

Submitting Time for the Week

Good day, jenlsouthard.

Thank you for posting here in the Community. Let me make it up to you by making sure you'll be able to see the employee hours in QuickBooks Time.

Let's access your account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once signed in, check if the employee hour shows. If it does, let's clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored files to ensure the program performs efficiently.

Aside from private browsing, you can also use other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure experience.

Additionally, you can use this reference to manage your timesheet data and how to generate a detailed report: QuickBooks Time reports.

Please stay in touch with me if there's anything else that you need help with with your QuickBooks account.. I'm always here to help. Keep safe always!
