Switching from one country version to another on same company

I would like to switch my current billing country to global Africa Tanzania since the current Company was mistakenly created under United States. How can I do that?

Signup for a new QBO Global version for Tanzania.

https://quickbooks.grsm.io/Africa

Then you may purchase a 3rd party service to convert your data from QBO US version or use a migration tool.

I definitely agree with Fiat Lux - ASIA. You'll have to sign up for the QuickBooks Online International version. You can visit the Plans and Pricing page and choose the subscription option you want.

If you're signed in to QBO, you’ll be asked to confirm the account you want to sign in with. If the displayed info is the one you want to use for the new plan, select Yes, that’s correct. Then, follow the on-screen instruction to complete the process.

Once you're all set up, we can now start exporting the reports and lists from your previous company. The reports will include the data from non-posting/posting entries and attachments. You can follow the steps listed in this article to learn how to do it: Export reports, lists, and other data.

After that, import the files into your new company so you can get up and run faster. Keep in mind that these are the only information that we can upload into the program:

  • Bank Transactions
  • Customers
  • Suppliers
  • Chart of Accounts
  • Products and Services
  • Invoices
  • Bills
  • Journal Entries

If you need to bring all your business transactions at once, you may need to use a third-party application or service to automate the process. Just visit our market or head to the Apps menu within your account to search for one:

  1. Select Apps from the sidebar menu.
  2. Click the Find Apps tab.
  3. Enter a keyword in the search bar or select Browse category to filter the results.

I'm also adding these articles to learn how to close your US subscription and help get you started with QBO Global:
