Template Problems

You rolled out new estimate and invoicing templates and we cannot fix these issues:

  1. Our old template for estimates says "Review and Pay" when it should say "Review and Approve" - there is no place to fix this!
  2. We can use a new estimate template but all the content in the email body is centered and looks terrible. Why in the world, in 2024 can't we format the email going to our clients???

I need to fix at least one of these issues immediately.

DO BETTER INTUIT

PS - your help topics are ridiculous and completely irrelevant to the topic I entered.

Template Problems

Let me help you fix your estimate issues, DanaBinAZ.

You can select the Modern template under the Design option to see the Review and Approve function.  To do so, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. On the actual estimate, go to Design on the right side.
  2. Select Modern.
  3. Click Review and send.

Once done, you'll now see the option on the new layout. I've added this screenshot for reference:

On the other hand, you can select different templates so you can customize the format that you want to send to your client. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Custom form styles.
  2. Choose the estimate that you want to customize the email to, then click Edit.
  3. Under Design, click the Change up the template to choose a format
  4. Click Done.

Furthermore, learn how you can create personalized and professional-looking invoices, estimates, and sales receipts. Please check this article for more information: Customize Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts in QuickBooks Online.
