Hello

We had  created an invoice template  to include rate of exchange from Dollars to Sterling , we produced several  invoices I since and it printed them with the rate of exchange . Today I  added a sterling bank account and saved the new style template as default. However it does print the invoice with the rate of exchange.

Is there a reason for this please.

Many Thanks

Caroline

Good day, @goldlyneI appreciate your effort in learning to customize an invoice template to include the exchange rate from Dollars to Sterling. I'll share some information about printing this specific currency conversion using the new style template you've set as default.

Including the exchange rate when printing an invoice is currently unavailable. I understand that this feature might be helpful in some cases. However, it's only visible when making the sales transaction, as this is for internal use.

As a workaround, you can utilize the Message box fields below the columns for your item's information. Any text entered on the first one will show up on the invoice, while the statement will show up as the description.

To learn how to personalize sales forms to enhance communication with customers, refer to this guide: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Here's a reference to guide you in accepting more revenues: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

This should reveal the reason why the rate of exchange is not displayed. Please let me know if you have other questions about handling receivables. I'm here whenever you need help. Have a great day.
