Terrible Customer Service?

Is there a better accounting package product or company out there? my business has used Quickbooks for 10 years now, and we have Point of Sales, Payroll, Desktop and pay for 24 support, yet I've never talked to a help center person that is not awful. The gentleman I spoke to yesterday takes the cake though. He repeatedly interrupted me, told me I needed to purchase additional software and services, belittled me, call me stupid, and repeatedly said "customers like me" make his hate his job. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he hung up on me. The only issue I was having was that I couldn't create a connection between POS and desktop, but after watching 15 YouTube videos I figured it out on my own. Is that what I supposed to be paying for? Also, finding an actual phone number to call and speak with an actual person is nearly impossible. After he hung up on my I called the same number and he answered again and just hung up on me again. What am I supposed to do now?

I noticed it's the Sales number, not the Support number. You were talking to a salesperson, not a technical support 8)

If you still wish to get in touch with one of our payroll team, you’ll have to request a callback for them to contact you. Let me show you how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right-hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Click Get help from a human or Contact Support Team.
  5. Select between Send a messageSchedule an appointment, or Get a callback.

In case you want to run an end-of-day report or a financial exchange and QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale tries to connect with QuickBooks Desktop, you see one of the following errors: Error: Point of Sale is unable to open or connect to QuickBooks.

Terrible Customer Service?

I can't even get a person on the phone to explain my problem to!  They want me to hold for hours!!!!  I'm busy!  Why must I wait 2-3 hours to speak with a human.  Unacceptable.  I need new software!  This sucks
