To correct error PS033 from reoccuring on sign in, I was required to complete payroll. I do not use payroll.

To correct error PS033 from reoccurring at start up, I was required to complete payroll registration.   I do NOT us payroll nor do I have a need to use payroll at this time.  Please do not charge me....

 The most common reason of the occurrence of Error PS033 is when the CPS Folder contains a damaged file and so you will be unable to download Payroll Update. You may also face a problem in opening any company file. There may be many causes of this error. These include:

 

  • Your Payroll Subscription is deactivated.
  • Your Payroll Subscription may be inactivated.
  • You may be using Incorrect Service Key.
  • You may not have applied to the latest product update.
  • QuickBooks Data must have damaged.
  • The Identification Number(EIN) may be invalid or incorrect in your company file.
  • QuickBooks Desktop may be incompatible with your latest Windows Version.
  • PSID is incorrect or invalid in the company file.
  • Payment related issue or QuickBooks may not be in proper use.
