If your customers choose to pay invoices via ACH bank transfer with the option Your customer pays the fee, you will not incur any costs. However, if they opt for credit cards or other payment methods, a convenience fee will apply to cover processing costs.

The Intuit transaction fee you see on your bank feed is associated with the payment processing methods. Intuit charges transaction fees based on the payment method your customers choose.

To avoid these charges in the future, encourage your customers to select the ACH payments, specifically the Your customer pays the fee option. You can also review your invoice settings to ensure that only preferred payment methods are enabled.

Here’s how:

1. Create an invoice and navigate to the Manage Gear icon.
2. Select Payments options.
3. Turn off all payment methods.
4. Review and click on Send Invoice.
