Join nowI am currently using BIS software for a construction business. Does anyone have any idea on how to transfer and import my files from BIS to QuickBooks Desktop either 2019 or 2020 version? My critical items to transfer/import are Vendors, Customers, Employees, and hopefully transactions. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I'm here to help you import your files from BIS to your QuickBooks Desktop company file, SCCS5.
You can directly contact BIS support so they can walk you through on how to export Customer, Employees and transaction data. Let's make sure that you'll save it in a file format that we support such as IIF, CSV, or MS Excel. Then, you can follow these easy steps on how import the saved file into QuickBooks Desktop.
These references will help you import lists and data with the specific file format:
For your transactions, you can connect your bank into QuickBooks as online banking or still manually import it as a web connect (.qbo) file.
You can always get back to me if you need anything else. Just leave a reply below and I'm here to help. Take care!
If you wish to import multi transaction types, consider having a 3rd party importer tool.
