Are you trying to send your tax information from QuickBooks Self-Employed to TurboTax Online? If so, you can follow the steps below.
Note: To connect both program, make sure you are using the same login credentials. Then, review the information before exporting them to TurboTax.
For the bundled plan, here are the steps:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
- Go to the Tax Checklist > Let's wrap things up > Review final tax summary.
- Select Send my info to TurboTax. When prompted, double-check your TurboTax sign-in info and click It's OK to send my info. This will redirect you to the TurboTax page.
- Click Continue to validate your Self-Employed information in the TurboTax page.
Once you're finished with the self-employed questions, you will then see data. Then QuickBooks Self-Employed sends your total income to TurboTax.

If exporting the data fails, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Team by following these steps:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can click the Assistant option or click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
- In the Help window, click the Contact Us button at the bottom.
- Enter your question and click the Continue button.
- Select Start a chat or Get a callback.
