You can't run QBD 2016 Mac on Ventura. You can install the trial version of QBD 2019 on your old machine to upgrade your company file and create the backup file. Then install the trial version of QBD 2019 on your new machine to restore the back up file. Next step, you can purchase a newer QB Desktop with a non subscription license or QB Desktop 2024 Mac Plus. QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2016 is no longer supported. Thus, you may need to purchase the newer version of QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. You can contact our Sales Representative for help. To get their phone number, visit this website and see Talk to Sales: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/.

Once you have the latest version, you can install it on your new Mac computer. Then, create a backup to your old file and restore it to the new one.

To create a back up, here's how:

1. Go to the File menu.
2. Select Back Up.
3. Choose the folder to store your backup.
4. Click Start Backup.
