unable to send invoice via email

I am FURIOUS right now!  

I am unable to send and invoice via email....I was able to in the last month. (Email Settings are with an other provider and have been set as such. I checked ports and SSL boxes are checked etc)   This box pops up.  When I click the link for "these steps"  I am taken to a Google Account window that A) will NOT CLOSE and B) gets me into a loop. 

 

 I have no idea what QB Desktop has to do with Google and I have no idea where to go when I get into my account.   THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!

Hello, Danish217. 

 

Let’s perform troubleshooting to help get back on track emailing invoices


We’ll have to close out the company file and then restart your QuickBooks to start on a clean slate. Then, send email service again.


I’m here to guide you through the step by step process. To close the company:

 

  1. Click on the File menu to choose Close Company/Logoff.
  2. In the No Company Open window, close the company file you’re working on and hit the Open button.

 

However, If none of this suggestion work, I recommend contacting our Technical Support. One of our specialists will look into your company file and review the email settings.


Once the issue is identified, they’ll guide you through the steps to fix it. You can reach them by following these steps.

 

  1. Click on the Help icon at the top menu bar to select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. When the Have a Question window opens, scroll down to choose the Contact us link. 
  3. This will display the Contact Us screen.
  4. Tap the Search for something else link and type the issue or topic in the field box.
  5. Press the Search button to display the Get Phone Number or Start a Message button. 

For future reference, the following articles list all internet service providers with the port information. Aside from that, you’ll see instructions on how to email transactions by batch.
