Unused balance on line of credit

Is there a way to display unused funds on a line of credit? Let’s say I have a credit card with a line of credit/ credit limit of $100. If it’s completely paid off, could it display something like “credit card remaining unused balance: $100.”

or if I’ve spent $30 this month, it shows a current balance of $30, and then display unused balance of $70.

Unused balance on line of credit

Hi there, @wsb64

Please know that displaying the remaining credit limit of a credit card isn't possible in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can manually go to your Chart of Accounts (COA) and check your remaining balance. I'll guide you on how:

  1. Open your QBO account and select Transactions.
  2. Choose the Chart of accounts.
  3. Locate your credit card and hit View register

Moreover, you can set up and track the things you pay with your line of credit and record it as a bill or expense. Refer to this article for more information: Manage a line of credit in QuickBooks Online.

Hi, @wsb64

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the unused balance of your credit card you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!

Thanks.
