"Update Credit Card" warning persists despite updating credit card info

Even after doing a "Business Name Change" with QuickBooks, one of my company files (i have six total; the other five have stopped doing this after my Business Name Change) still has the red "Update Credit Card" warning, and it still will not accept my login information when I attempt to do so from within QuickBooks; it still tells me I "have to use the right Intuit account to proceed", even though I DON'T HAVE another Intuit account. My credit card information in CAMPs is current. I am using QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2022.

"Update Credit Card" warning persists despite updating credit card info

I appreciate the detailed information you've provided, billastonj.

I can help you get this sorted out. You may want to ensure you have the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop installed. This way, you have the latest features and fixes. Then, close and reopen QuickBooks.

If the problem continues, I highly recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can further check on this matter and provide in-depth troubleshooting steps to get this resolved. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.

You can check these articles for more details about updating your billing information. This also includes how you can see your payment history.

If there's anything else I can do to help you with, you can post them here at any time. I'll be right here to help.

"Update Credit Card" warning persists despite updating credit card info

According to the Ctrl-1 popup window, I am running QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2022 Release R5P (64-bit). I hope that's the latest version, because whenever I click on "Update Now" I get an error message saying "QuickBooks cannot complete your update request because it is busy with another update. Please try again shortly." And that's immediately AFTER restarting QuickBooks.

The problem I'm having is this: in one of my company files (I have six in total, and originally all six were doing this, but after doing a Business Name Change (or "BNC") with y'all, five of my company files have stopped doing this), there is a red "Update Credit Card" warning. When I click on it and attempt to update my credit card information, it rejects my login information and give me the message "You've to use the right Intuit account to proceed", when I ALREADY AM using the "right" Intuit account because it's the only Intuit account I have. It's doing this in one of my company files even after the aforementioned BNC, but before the BNC, all six of them were doing it.

It has been suggested to me that I update my credit card information on CAMPs, and in fact I have already done so, but this has had no effect on my issue whatsoever. I cannot make the "Update Credit Card" warning go away, and I cannot access my account/billing information from within QuickBooks.

I have also been walked through doing a Business Name Change, and even after that was completed, I still have one company file prompting me to "Update Credit Card".
