Hello, saprovenzo.

I'll hop in and lay down the details regarding QuickBooks Mac's operating system requirements and how you can update to R13 release.

As long as you meet the minimum operating system requirements for QuickBooks Mac, you'll be able to run and apply updates, including the R13 release.

Each version of the Mac platform has different operating system requirements:

  • QuickBooks Mac 2019: At least Mac OS X v10.12 (Sierra); Supported by Mac OS X v10.14 (Mojave), 10.13 (High Sierra).
  • QuickBooks Mac 2020: At least macOS 10.14 (Mojave); supported by macOS 10.14 (Mojave).
  • QuickBooks Mac Plus 2022: An operating system of at least Mac OS X v11.3 (Big Sur) or later.

You can update your QuickBooks Mac by following these steps:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks drop-down menu, and select Check for QuickBooks Updates.
  2. Click Install Update.
  3. When prompted, select Install and Relaunch.

There might be some performance issues when running QuickBooks Mac on an older machine, so you may consider upgrading your computer soon.

Do you need to create and run a report in QuickBooks to check your financial data? I'm sure you'll find this article helpful: Create reports in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac

I'm willing to give it another shot if you have other questions about QuickBooks Mac's system requirements. Do you need any help with the processes in the program? Please let me know and I'd be glad to help.

Let's get you back into accessing your QuickBooks file again, @abirh.

To do this, let's perform some troubleshooting steps by resetting the password of your Intuit account. Just make sure the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) uses the email address you registered your product with.

Let me guide you how:

  1. Go to this link https://camps.intuit.com/.
  2. Click on I forgot my user ID or Password.
  3. Enter your phone number, email address, or user ID and select OK.
  4. Check your email for the code.
  5. Enter the code, then select OK.
  6. From there, QuickBooks will guide you in creating a new admin password.

For future reference, I've collated some of our resources which you may find helpful. These links will serve as a guide on how you can manage your CAMPs account and tips with navigating QuickBooks:

That should do it! Please let me know how it goes by leaving a comment down below. I'd be glad to answer if you have any additional concerns. Take care and enjoy the rest of the day.
