Let me help you on resetting a user's password in QuickBooks Desktop.
To do this, you need to login as admin user to the company file. Once you're logged in, you can follow the steps below:
- Go to Company, select Set Up Users and Passwords.
- Choose Set Up Users.
- If prompted, enter the admin password again.
- In the User List, select the user that needs to change their password.
- Click on Edit User, then enter the new password for the user.
- Select Next twice, then Finish.
