verify data

I verify my data often.  Sometimes it claims that the verify has found some errors and wants to Rebuild.  If I don't Rebuild, and I close QB then get back into QB and run the Verify again--it "detects no problems".  Then I'll do a Backup with Full Verification and everything looks fine.  What's causing this?  Do I really have a problem, or is it "hit or miss".  Yesterday, I uninstalled QB and reinstalled QB to see if it would help, but it didn't help.  I've run the QB Tool Hub actions, but it doesn't find anything wrong.

verify data

Thanks for posting to the Community, @LANDYRAY.

Verify Data self-identifies the most generally known data issues within a company file while Rebuild Data self-resolves most data integrity issues that the Verify Data finds.

You can check if it's possible to save the company file to a different drive. There are times that these issues are caused by the drive or drive partition.

I'll be adding these articles for more details about verifying and rebuilding data feature in QuickBooks:
