Wasted space in the ui

Are you trying to customize the view of your Dashboard? Do you need to adjust the screen preference and display on your QuickBooks Online? We would appreciate any information or screenshots you can give us to help us locate the problem.

For example, the P&L report screen has 5 menu bars and white space in between. By the time I get to the income line, I can only see 10 lines, at the most. I have to keep scrolling. All the applications in QB require a lot of scrolling to see what I need.

I don't need a pretty user interface. I need an efficient interface. This is even more a problem with the "beta" reports. They are prettier, not more useful.

I understand the challenges that you encountered while working on the latest layout especially when running the reports. Since we're still rolling this out to all customers, we're actively collecting valuable ideas to help improve your QuickBooks Online experience. That said, you'll want to send feedback directly to our Product Development Team by following the steps below:

1. Sign in to your QBO company.
2. Click the Gear icon at the top, then choose Feedback.
3. Enter product suggestions.
4. Select Next to submit your comments.
5. Go to the Gear icon.
6. Hit Feedback.
7. Type in your recommendation in the Share your feedback field.
8. Click Next.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

I AGREE! The distribution of screen space in the UI is ridiculous. When I navigate to the https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/banking screen to review my bank transaction, less than 5% of the page is actually dedicated to showing me the information that is the sole purpose of the page!! Huge blocks of wasted white space. It makes me hate QuickBooks. I want to see what I'm working on ... not ads or gaping white spaces. I cannot understand how all this white space in the design passed even the most rudimentary UI review. #astounded

The ONE thing I want to see (a list of transactions) IS NOT VISIBLE AT ALL WITHOUT SCROLLING. 

Here is an example of waisted vertical space.  I need to be able to see more accounts on this screen rather that is wasted real estate indicated here in red.

You can compress the account's list by modifying the settings of the Chart of accounts page.

1. Go to Transactions and select Chart of accounts.
2. Click the Gear icon and choose Compact in the Table Density section.

Moreover, please note that adjustments to the Chart of Accounts layout are fixed by design. That said, I recommend submitting your feedback about its layout to our product engineering team for them to analyze and consider adding this for future updates.

2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
3. Tap Next to submit.

Additionally, ensure to reconcile your accounts to make them accurate and up-to-date.
