Thanks for the question. I've done some research into this and found that the sample paycheck, at this time, will not be restored. The decision was made to remove it because it wasn't always accurately representing an employee's paycheck or any taxes the employer may be liable for. If you feel this was an essential feature, I would submit feedback to the product team by going to the gear icon and selecting feedback in your QuickBooks Online. If engineers hear from enough customers that this was a necessary feature, they may look into bringing it back, in some form.
