Buy nowDoes anyone know how to stop the pop-up that directs you to QB Support web page every time you log in to a company file? I have already gone to Preferences and checked the box "turn off pop-up messages for products and services" with no luck. This issue started several months ago and I keep hoping Intuit will create a fix when it issues updates. Please help as this is extremely annoying and relay slows me down when I need to log in and out of several entities. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
David K, [removed]
What pop-up message? Can you share the screenshot? Click the camera icon on the menu to insert image here.
I know that unexpected prompts or pop-up messages can disrupt business tasks, David. Let's collaborate to resolve this and get things running smoothly again.
To ensure we provide you with precise information, could you please confirm if the prompt contains information or reasons why you need to contact our live experts? If that's the case, I recommend following the instructions to reach out to us so that we can address the issue promptly.
On the other hand, if the prompt only directs you to the regular help webpage, could you please provide us with a screenshot from your end? This will assist us in checking the behavior you've encountered.

@ASD-NY Seconding this request.
I don't have a pop-up, per se; it simply opens the browser to QB's help page when opening companies; not consistently, but enough to be annoying.
Thank you for getting back to me. Below is a screenshot of the web browser page that pops up every time I sign into a company or run Consolidated Financial Statements. If you could please assist in stopping this from happening, I would be very grateful. Thank you.
Chrea,
Thank you for your response. Below is a screenshot of the web browser page that opens every time I sign into a company. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you have.
I've also sent this screenshot to Intuit Support, hoping to resolve this issue.
Thanks for checking back with us, @ASD-NY.
To clarify, have you updated your QuickBooks to the latest release as my colleague mentioned above? If not, I encourage you to do this as this can download the latest bug fixes and security patches, ensuring your software runs smoothly.
On another note, you can edit your preferences to turn off QuickBooks pop-up messages. Here's how:
That should do the trick. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Have a good one!
@Tori B Listen.
Despite the keyword you used to yank out your pre-written reply, this is not actually about a pop-up within QB.
The program is literally opening a browser tab for no reason.
Thank you Tori.
Can you please send me the latest version of Quickbooks Enterprise so I can compare it to the version I'm showing?
Also, I have already gone through it and made sure to check the box under Preferences, which is highlighted below. This action did not help stop the web browser from popping up.
That is correct. When I sign into one of our Entities files, a web browser page opens, but nothing within the program itself.
