(PLEASE NOTE: I have seen this issue brought up here a couple times last year. I HAVE already tried to "Re-Sync" my data, and made sure the app is up-to-date. This "fix" does not work!)
I run a mobile business. I usually write my estimates on my PC via QBO. Then convert it to an invoice in the field and take payment via card reader or send the invoice via email for the customer to pay online.
My Process:
- I create an estimate on my PC via QB Online.
- Customer accepts Estimate via call or email reply and I mark it as accepted, OR I get their signature by using the Android App.
- I complete the job
- I then, via Android App, click convert to invoice, update info if needed.
- I use my QB card reader or send the invoice to the customer to pay online.
- I receive payment.
Now, if I go back to my estimate on QBO OR in the Android App, the estimate is still sitting there waiting to be converted or "Pending" with no link to the new invoice/payment.
Someone previously made a connection with the progressive invoicing system. ::shrug:: I do use the progressive invoicing system to receive deposits from my customers in order to secure parts/supplies for the job.
