When I send invoices from CLIP to QBO, it will only number the first invoice correctly, then it makes up some huge number. I have to renumber each one manually.

When I send invoices from CLIP to QBO, it will only number the first invoice correctly, then it makes up some huge number. I have to renumber each one manually.

You can set the invoice numbering in QuickBooks Online, SandyBush.

This typically arises from a mismatch in invoice numbering settings between CLIP and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how to turn on the invoice numbering:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to Gear icon settings, then Account and settings.
  3. Select Sales.
  4. Look for the Sales form content section.
  5. Ensure that Custom transaction numbers are enabled.
  6. Click Done.

By enabling custom transaction numbers, QBO will allow invoices to follow the numbering sent from CLIP without altering or generating huge default numbers.
