Hello there, @directmatters.

Thank you for posting in the Community. I'd be happy to help walk you through on how to disable the pop-up to log in to QuickBooks Payment account.

You can turn off the pop-up notification by resetting your preferences on QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

  1. At the top menu, select Edit.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. In the Preferences window, select General on the left pane.
  4. Click the My Preferences tab.
  5. Check the box, Turn off pop-up messages for products and services.
  6. Click OK.

These resources should help to get you back on track and get rid of the payments services option.

For additional help, feel free to reach out to our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and do a screen share to get this resolved quickly.

Here's how you can reach them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Desktop company.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Click Contact us.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions about QuickBooks payments. I'll be happy to help you out. Have a great rest of your week.

I had already had the block pop-ups box checked.  So I unchecked it and closed preferences.  Went back, clicked again on the block box, go to email invoice and I get this pop-up

In addition, after closing the QB payments pop-up, the system freezes and I have to go to Task Manager to end it and start over.  Very frustrating.

QB Payments system is just verifying your credentials. Just click thru the screens and confirm your name, etc. Once you complete them once, the pop up stops, thankfully.

I have followed these steps. The box to disable pop-ups was already checked, yet I STILL get these pop ups EVERY time I try to send an invoice. How can I disable this for reals?

Hello, @turfdoc.

I'm here to guide you in performing some troubleshooting to permanently stop the pop-up in your QuickBooks.

Let’s start by run the QuickBooks Tool Hub to fix minor issues on the software. Make sure to end all the processes running in the background before performing the steps below.

  1. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Download the  QuickBooks Tool Hub and save it on your desktop.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  4. From the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.
  5. Select Quick Fix my Program.
  6. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

Once completed, restart your device. When you open QuickBooks, make sure to review the preference settings. Then, try sending invoice again. If you continue to get the same result, I recommend utilizing the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. This can help resolve Microsoft component related issues that the program uses. Here’s how:

  1. Click this link to download the tool: QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool.
  2. Save it to your desktop.
  3. Close all open programs and run the tool.

You can read through this article for more detailed steps: Resolving Potential Data Issues.
