We currently have a company that uses a different accounting/inventory computer system, and we're thinking of moving it into Quickbooks Premier Plus Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 2023. We will need to upload files into Quickbooks in order to set up the general ledger, the customers, the vendors, part numbers, inventory, costs, prices, discounts, etc.
To do that, we need the template to put the information in so we can upload it.
Where can I find the template?
From which accounting program do you need to convert to QB Desktop?
SAP.
SAP Business One?
Sorry. It's SAP byDesign.
I think my first post didn't make it. It'll be coming from SAP byDesign.
QB Desktop provides the IIF feature for importing data but its capabilities are very limited.
You may have 2 options:
1, Purchase a third party conversion service.
2. Use the importer tool. It's a one-time $199 license and you can get $100 cash back for purchasing it through a partner. You will find templates for each type of transaction to import on their website.

Does that mean that the Quickbooks program doesn't have the templates already loaded for us to look at and use?
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
